My Story
Hello, my name is Katherine,
I have always loved to be creative.
I always had a passion to paint. I wanted to be able to inspire feelings and emotions through a visual image.
I ended up going to school and receiving my degree in Business Administration. The corporate world was a means to an end but I always wanted something more.
I found a wonderful event called “Paint Nite” it was not a class but a fun way to learn.
Since I already had started buying supplies to start as a hobby, I chose this as a first step in figuring out what to do and how to do it.
The next step was online courses, learning how to mix colors and the basics of how to start the paintings.
After a year I decided I was happier painting then I was dealing with traffic and impossible demands from any “job”. I decided I wanted more out of life, something I could look forward to doing, so I decided to change my life and do something I love.
I started with landscapes and have since started working with abstracts.
I have since started teaching step by step instructional classes. There is no greater joy then seeing someone create a piece of art that they never thought they could.
